Practice the 35mm sunny 16 rule, using a light meter and The Exposure Triangle, dial in your game and enjoy it before you drop $1000+ on a camera body and $1500 on a lens ;-) Yes they're 1000 times better and more accurate but try film shooting first, then advance sensibly !!!
