Rockhounding Russian Gulch State Beach, CA

I heard that Russian Gulch State Beach would be a good place to rockhound so I went to check it out. Found some good rocks that I liked and if I would have had more time to look for more I would have. Dog friendly beach, walk to it was easy but not for wheelchairs. It does have a portable toilet but mind you the walk to the beach and there is a bit of a walk so best to go before hitting the beach. If rockhounding don’t forget a spray water bottle!
