Today our mythology invents writing | Outside Inn E17

Today, we invent writing. I'm E.I. Werner, a fantasy author and mythic poet based in NYC. Every Wednesday morning, before work, I write an original creation mythology called, "Once". Like upon a time. Once is a seven-poem creation mythology for a universe that knows its sun will die. Once begins before the first beginning, ends after the last ending, and charges humanity with one purpose: to sire a sky full of stars before our dying sun dies. 🪶 | Subscribe to the EIW YouTube channel →    / @eiwerner   🚪 | Step inn to the Innsider community → https://eiwerner.com/pages/step-inn 🧭 | Follow EIW on Instagram →   / eiwerner   🪿 | Shop the There Collection → https://eiwerner.com/collections/ther... 🐺 | Original music composed by Carson Thatcher →   / carsonthatcher   🕯️ | Original pixel animation by Marwan → https://www.artstation.com/marwan21 🖌️ | Original portrait, background, and overlay by Luiz Trevas → https://www.artstation.com/luiz_trevas 0:00:00 Starting Soon 0:05:26 Step Inn · a mythology called Once 0:07:36 Thoreau, Plato, and AI on writing 0:09:24 The threads behind A War 0:21:15 Why the bird comes first 0:28:01 The eagle and the snake 0:33:15 Odin's horse and Eight Hoof 0:40:16 One hand in the unknown 0:47:58 Why two serpents spill out 0:51:01 🪶 Rewriting A War · alone atop A Spire 0:59:01 🪶 Rewriting A War · the invention of writing 1:03:21 🪶 Rewriting A War · so no other should so suffer 1:14:08 📜 Reading A War · the finished ending
