Such volunteerism overseas embodies the noble ideal that it’s good and worthwhile to dedicate oneself to helping others; whether volunteering to educate children in a school in Zambia, provide emergency famine relief in the horn of Africa, help children with special needs in Eastern Europe or a thousand and one similar scenarios… What unites such volunteers is their undying passion for life and social justice.
