Building Structure for School of Medical Services University of Delta Agbor To be completed In 2023

The ongoing Structure for the School of Medical Services in the University of Delta Agbor will be completed next year. Governor Ifeanyi Okowa disclosed this when he visited the site of the project at Agbor in Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. Governor Okowa revealed that his visit was to get a first hand information on the extent of the job stressing that the School will take off from a temporary site while they  await the completion of the project billed to last 18 months. He said the giant strides of his administration in the health sector was aimed at providing affordable and accessible health care services to Deltans and Nigerians at large affirming that a healthy nation was a wealthy nation. Governor Okowa revealed that 21 government hospitals were enjoying the solar power project while another 15 will be included before he leaves office pointing out that it was to ensure regular power supply in Government hospitals. The governor charged the contractor to redouble efforts to meet the 18 months  completion date. The Representative of the Contracting firm Mr Ifeanyi Ochunta  assured the Governor that the foundation work has been achieved emphasizing that the project will be ready for use in the next 18 months. Quest Charles Kosipre reports that the University of Delta Agbor hosting the medical School project is one of the 3 Universities established by the administration of Governor Okowa.
