Elden Ring Lore Chat/Playthrough 9/?

Well, it's time for Redmane Castle and the Festival. I actually did this fight pre-patch way back when it came out, but I was using a greatsword so I'm not sure it counts. This will likely be a lot scarier. This is not a blind playthrough, but let's try to keep the discussion focused generally around what we've already seen and where we're at rather than jumping ahead.
