Celtic Stag Watercolor Painting | speed painting

Hi Everyone! here comes another watercolor painting heavily inspired by Celtic art. While the idea of a stag in a forest is a very conventional idea, I wanted to execute it in a stylized way emphasizing color harmony. I had a lot of fun painting the stag, however the Celtic knot design was boring to execute because of it's "repetitive" nature. I admire the ancient artists who would execute complex Celtic knots with accuracy given the geometric nature of those designs. They were truly amazing! My celtic knot is unfortunately not to my liking but since it's a first for me, it's a good start.
