To prepare the cave, the woman strikes the mountainside with a pickaxe, laboriously dislodging massive boulders and stones that have clung to the rock face for ages. Every strike of the pickaxe represents a step toward creating a better shelter, yet the task is far from easy. Heavy stones, the unyielding mountain rock, and back-breaking labor have become part of this family's daily existence. Together with her daughters, the woman strives to expand and improve the cave, making it more livable so they can sustain their lives amidst these mountains.
