From May 10 through the 13th Multiple North Jersey FD Agencies took part in a "show and tell" type training for the UASI Neptune System in Carstadt Nj. A few of the many components where brought to River Barge Park to be set up to flow water via the Iron Man Nozzle trailer into the Hackensack river. This video was filmed on two days as there was an issue flowing water at full volume on May 11th so I took a trip back on May 13th to get footage of the systems full capabilities. Here are a few facts on the UASI Kiddie Neptune System thanks to FAMag The Neptune System Can be set up 150 feet away and 50 feet above water. Features a boost pump capable of pumping up to 175 psi and 5,000 gpm. Main discharge pump is powered by a 600-hp Caterpillar engine. Features two hydraulically driven submersible pumps that supply the Neptune boost pump via two eight-inch supply lines. Submersible intake pumps are driven by a 300-hp Caterpillar engine. System includes a variety of manifolds and hose diameters (five-, eight-, and 12-inch) to provide flexibility.
