St. Joseph's Church, Haifa

Welcome to St. Joseph’s Church in Haifa, Israel. In this video, I visit this beautiful church and share a special moment from my Holy Land journey. St. Joseph’s Church in Haifa is an important Roman Catholic church served by the Carmelite Fathers. The first Latin Catholic church in Haifa was dedicated to the Prophet Elijah and opened in 1867. After it was damaged in 1948, the Catholic community built a new church dedicated to Saint Joseph. The present church was designed by the Italian architect Antonio Barluzzi, who designed several famous churches in the Holy Land. St. Joseph’s Church was completed and inaugurated on 29 June 1961.
