Epic Battle Fantasy 4: Dark Lance (Epic)

Dark Lance is a nightmare. His physical damage is obscene, and all of his attacks can cause instant Death. This means that unlike with many of the other bosses, 100% Death Resistance is mandatory here. Aside from that it's smart to max Fire and Lightning Resistances to nullify many of his attacks and his Limit Breaks: Nuke first, Ion Cannon second. Bomb resistance helps but it is the secondary priority. His minion is extremely dangerous and was much more of a threat than the Evil Worms or Elemental Crystals. When it uses Bomb spells, all is fine. But when it attacks directly, my life is hell. I found their attack damage to be just slightly above "completely-fucking ridiculous" and would recommend stacking Def if a Resistance-based strategy isn't working out for you, just don't forget the Death Resistance. Dark Lance is the hardest of the four.
