STRANGER THINGS | 1 Peter 4:1–4 | Bible Class Only

September 20, 2026 Eagle Creek Church of Christ Sunday School Bible Class Stranger Things 1 Peter 4:1-4 Bro. Quantrell Turner At this time of year, graveyards, skeletons, zombies, and images of death begin appearing in front yards. Strange, right? In 1 Peter 4:1–4, Peter reveals something even stranger: the world can become so comfortable with sin that a changed and holy life looks unusual. In this adult Bible class, Minister Quantrell Turner walks through five movements in Peter’s message: The Pattern — Look at Christ The Preparation — Arm your mind The Purpose — Live your remaining time for God’s will The Past — Decide that the old life has had enough time The Pressure — Stand faithfully when others find your change strange Main truth: The world can make sin look normal and make holiness look strange. The goal is not to act strange. The goal is to belong to Christ so completely that the old pattern can no longer explain us. Has the old crowd seen enough change in your life to be surprised?
