On the sacred occasion of Devshayani Ekadashi, marking the commencement of the holy Chaturmas, Sahajanand Gaave is honoured to present a Hindustani classical rendition of the timeless kirtan “Mile Moy Shri Sahajanand Swami,” composed by the venerable Sadguru Muktanand Swami.
This composition has been exquisitely set to music by Shri Parthasarathi Desikan, whose thoughtful musical interpretation beautifully preserves the devotional spirit of the original while enriching it with the elegance of Hindustani classical music. The kirtan is rendered by the distinguished vocalist Pt. Kaushiki Chakraborty, whose deeply expressive voice and exceptional musicianship bring remarkable emotional depth to this timeless devotional masterpiece.

Mile Moy Shri Sahajanand Swami is among the most profound devotional compositions of Sadguru Muktanand Swami, expressing the overwhelming joy of attaining the manifest darshan of Bhagwan Shri Sahajanand Swami (Bhagwan Swamianarayan). Rather than simply praising the Lord’s divine qualities, the kirtan is a deeply personal expression of spiritual realization—a celebration of the soul’s highest fortune in recognizing and experiencing the Supreme Purushottam in His manifest form.
Throughout the composition, Muktanand Swami reflects upon the wondrous mystery of the Divine: the eternal Lord of Akshardham, who transcends time, space, and māyā, compassionately manifests upon earth for the liberation of countless souls. The kirtan beautifully contemplates how the infinite becomes approachable without ever ceasing to be infinite, and how the Supreme Being, worshipped through innumerable names in the scriptures, lovingly walks amongst His devotees, accepting their devotion and granting them the opportunity for direct communion.
The poetry embodies the heartfelt gratitude and wonder of a realized devotee. It is the voice of one who has discovered that the Supreme Reality sought by the Vedas, contemplated by sages, and praised throughout the śāstras has become personally manifest before humanity. Every verse overflows with reverence, bliss, and loving surrender, inspiring listeners to contemplate the immeasurable grace of Bhagwan’s divine manifestation and the transformative power of His association.
Released on the auspicious occasion of Devshayani Ekadashi, this offering is especially significant. Devshayani Ekadashi marks the beginning of Chaturmas, the sacred four-month period traditionally dedicated to intensified devotion, scriptural study, kirtan, self-discipline, and spiritual reflection. It is a season in which devotees strive to deepen their relationship with God, making this timeless composition a fitting reminder that the greatest blessing of spiritual life lies in recognizing, remembering, and lovingly serving the manifest Supreme Lord.
May the immortal poetry of Sadguru Muktanand Swami, the beautiful musical vision of Shri Parthasarathi Desikan, and the sublime voice of Pt. Kaushiki Chakraborty inspire devotion, contemplation, and inner joy in every listener.
Jai Swaminarayan.
