Light's Abode, Celestial Salem (Tune: Regent's Square - 5vv) [with lyrics for congregations]

"Light's Abode, Celestial Salem" is attributed to the 15th century German monk Thomas á Kempis, author of 'Imitatio Christi', which has been translated into more languages than any other book, apart from the Bible. The hymn was translated into English by John Mason Neale in 1858. The tune is 'Regent Square' written by Henry Thomas Smart in 1866. It is performed here by the choir of Portsmouth Cathedral.
