Turner Classic Movies program breaks (August 27th, 2004)

All day today, TCM has been airing films starring one of my favorite actors, Cary Grant (as part of their annual Summer Under the Stars marathon). So I thought this would be a really good time to post this from a tape I’ve had for a while now. This comes from not only the first time Cary was honored with his own day, but the first time TCM ran Summer Under the Stars! All this aired between “North by Northwest”, the TCM produced doc “Cary Grant: A Class Apart”, “Arsenic and Old Lace” and “Father Goose”. A couple cool promos and Robert Osborne intros/wrap-ups right around when TCM was about to change their on-air branding.
