James Gunn Is RUINING the DC Universe?

James Gunn's DCU has a BIG problem, and I think DC fans need to start asking some serious questions. From James Gunn's comments about DC's so-called "diamond characters" to John Stewart being mentioned alongside Krypto, I'm breaking down why I believe DC Studios is prioritizing the wrong characters. Why are we getting Clayface and Supergirl before Batman and Wonder Woman? Why is Green Lantern being treated like a smaller character when John Stewart deserves the big-screen treatment? And why does it feel like James Gunn keeps making the same movie with a different group of characters? In this video, I discuss: James Gunn's original DCU slate and the projects that have faced delays or uncertainty The controversial John Stewart and Krypto comparison Why Batman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern deserve more attention My thoughts on Superman, Supergirl, Clayface, Peacemaker, and Creature Commandos Why I believe James Gunn keeps repeating the same ragtag-team storyline Craig Gillespie's involvement with Supergirl and the creative direction of the DCU Why Lanterns deserves to embrace the Green Lantern comics and source material What DC Studios should have done differently to build audience trust Let me be clear: I LOVE James Gunn's movies. Guardians of the Galaxy is one of my favorite Marvel movies of all time. But loving his work doesn't mean we have to agree with every decision he's making at DC. I want Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Justice League to succeed. I want John Stewart on the big screen. And most importantly, I want DC to give its characters the respect they deserve. Is James Gunn building the DC Universe fans actually want, or is he making the same movie over and over again? Let me know what you think in the comments.
