THE LAST NIGHT OF PAUL: 13 LETTERS IN ORDER

#Paul #BibleStudy #BibleHistory #NewTestament A chained old man in a Roman dungeon asks a friend for a cloak, because winter is coming. Why? Follow the apostle Paul through all 13 of his letters in the order he actually wrote them, and watch separate Bible books turn into one life story. In this calm, story-led Bible study we travel from Galatians, written in anger, through grief in Thessalonians, chaos in Corinth, the courtroom of Romans, joy from a chain in the prison letters, and the pastoral letters, to Paul's last letter from the dungeon. Along the way: the runaway slave, the missing companion, and the small request in 2 Timothy 4:13 that pays off at the end. Notes: Scripture is quoted from the New King James Version (NKJV) where it appears verbatim; other verses are paraphrased. The dating and order of some letters (for example Galatians versus 1 Thessalonians), the place of the prison letters, Ephesians' authorship, and Paul's second imprisonment and death are debated among scholars or rest on early tradition, and the film says so where it matters.
