Genesis 12 and 13 - Abraham's Struggle With Faith and Brings Lot to Canaan

In this teaching from Genesis 12 and 13 we compare the altar made by Abram to worship YHWWH with the Tower of Babel. We then examine Abram's struggle with faith in the promise of God that it would be through his seed, not Terah's seed, that all nations of the world would be blessed. We see this through Abram bringing along his nephew, Lot. We follow Abram to Egypt where we find him putting Sarai at risk when he leads Pharoah to believe she is his sister. We hear the echo in the story of Jacob and his family going to Egypt due to famine and leaving with great wealth before returning to Canaan. There is much to learn in these two chapters.
