Forester – El choclo Tango Perfomed by Egle Bartkeviciute 🇱🇹 🇫🇷 Lithuania / France - Member of the Jury "Art-Dominant-2017" Ángel Gregorio Villoldo (1861–1919) was an Argentine composer and lyricist and one of the key figures in the formative years of tango. The National Library of Argentina describes him as an important representative of the Guardia Vieja, the generation that helped shape the early language and character of Argentine tango. 💃 El Choclo became Villoldo’s best-known composition and one of the enduring classics of early Argentine tango. Its place in tango history is so prominent that Argentine music sources have described it as an “anthem” of Argentine tango. A 1913 edition titled Le Vrai tango argentin: El Choclo is preserved in the Music Division of the Library of Congress. Форестер – Эль чокло танго Виконує Егле Барткевічюте /🇱🇹 🇫🇷 Литва-Франція - член журі "Арт-Доминанта-2017" Анхель Грегоріо Вільйольдо (1861–1919) — аргентинський композитор і автор текстів, одна з ключових постатей ранньої історії танго. Національна бібліотека Аргентини називає його важливим представником так званої Guardia Vieja — покоління музикантів, яке формувало мову аргентинського танго на початку ХХ століття. 💃 El Choclo — найвідоміший твір Вільйольдо й одна з класичних мелодій раннього аргентинського танго. Його значення для жанру настільки велике, що аргентинські музичні джерела називають композицію своєрідним «гімном аргентинського танго». У фондах Library of Congress зберігається, зокрема, нотне видання Le Vrai tango argentin: El Choclo 1913 року.
