This former holiday camp likely dates from the early 1970s, with the site formerly being a Zoo in the grounds of Comyn Hill Manor House. The Zoo operated from 1949-1973 & once housed Cheetahs Bears Leopards Lions and Sea Lions along with many other animals and was set in 8 acres of pleasure grounds.
