Gibson SG vs Epiphone SG on a Marshall - Can You Hear the Difference?

Let's compare a Gibson SG '61 Standard to an Epiphone SG Traditional Pro! Both are run through a Marshall JCM2000 DSL100 with gain at 7 on red channel and the 1960a cabinet is mic'ed with an MXL R80 Ribbon Mic. To me, the Gibson has much hotter pickups with it's '61 Burstbuckers. The Epiphone's pickups are very honky and nasal to my ear, and much less output.
