I Saw Stars - Bob Causer & his Cornellians (Freddy Martin)

An ARC pseudonym that covered many bands at that time, and in this case it is the Freddy Martin band. Freddy had recently joined the ranks of ARC bands in 1933 and quickly became one of the "go to" orchestras, recording many sides including non vocal recordings of pop tunes for theater use. These records were made specifically for theaters to use as exit music or background music before the movie was shown. These records are somewhat scarce since they were not intended for public sale and are not the same version that the band made for record buyers at the time. Recorded in New York on October 4, 1934.
