The Final Day of the Dinosaurs | What Happened 66 Million Years Ago?

66 million years ago, Earth was ruled by giants. Tyrannosaurus rex hunted across vast floodplains. Triceratops moved in protective herds. Hadrosaurs filled the forests and wetlands. Giant pterosaurs ruled the skies, while mosasaurs dominated the ancient oceans. Then, everything changed. In this cinematic prehistoric documentary, we journey into the final days of the Late Cretaceous — from a thriving world of dinosaurs and ancient marine predators to the catastrophic asteroid impact that changed life on Earth forever. Witness the approach of the Chicxulub asteroid, the devastating impact, enormous shockwaves, tsunamis, global darkness, ecosystem collapse, and the final struggle of Earth's giant reptiles. But extinction was not the end. Some dinosaur lineages survived. This documentary follows the survivors and reveals how small feathered dinosaurs and early birds carried the dinosaur legacy into the future — ultimately leading to the incredible diversity of birds alive today. From Tyrannosaurus rex to modern birds, this is the story of extinction, survival, evolution, and the final chapter of the dinosaur age. 🌎 66 Million Years Ago 🦖 The Last Dinosaurs ☄️ The Chicxulub Impact 🌊 The Collapse of the Ancient Oceans 🦅 The Dinosaur Lineage That Survived This is a cinematic scientific reconstruction based on paleontological evidence and plausible interpretations of Late Cretaceous environments. Some behavioral and environmental sequences are reconstructed because the fossil record cannot preserve every moment of this ancient event.
