AWAKE YOUR DIVINE NATURE OF GOD ||Apostle Michael Oropko|| #apostlemichaelorokpo

Awakening your divine nature does not mean becoming God or possessing independent divinity. Rather, it means growing in the new life God gives through Christ, allowing the Holy Spirit to transform your character, and reflecting the nature of Jesus in your thoughts, words, and actions. As you grow spiritually, you learn to walk in love, humility, holiness, patience, wisdom, and obedience to God's Word. Your life begins to reflect the values of the Kingdom of God rather than being controlled by destructive habits, fear, pride, or worldly influences. In this message, AWAKE YOUR DIVINE NATURE OF GOD, consider the importance of understanding your identity in Christ and developing the spiritual discipline required for lasting transformation. Many believers desire spiritual growth but struggle to maintain consistency in prayer, study the Bible, resist temptation, or live according to the truth they profess. Spiritual awakening begins with a genuine hunger for God and a willingness to surrender every area of life to His leadership. Galatians 2:20 reminds Christians that their lives are now centred on Christ, who lives in them through faith. Galatians 5:22–23 describes the fruit of the Spirit, including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These qualities provide practical evidence of spiritual maturity. True growth is not measured only by spiritual experiences or powerful declarations; it is also seen in the character we develop, the choices we make, and the way we treat others. If you desire to awaken your spiritual life, begin by spending consistent time in prayer and studying Scripture with understanding. Build a lifestyle of worship, practise obedience to God's instructions, seek fellowship with mature believers, and remain sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. When you fall short, turn to God for forgiveness and grace rather than allowing shame to keep you away from Him. Spiritual growth is a process, and God calls believers to continue growing in faith and becoming more like Christ. This message will encourage you to examine your spiritual life, renew your commitment to God, and pursue a deeper understanding of the life you have received through Jesus Christ. Do not allow spiritual laziness, discouragement, or destructive habits to hinder your growth. Let God's Word renew your mind, let prayer strengthen your relationship with Him, and let the Holy Spirit guide you into a life that honours Christ. Your divine purpose requires spiritual maturity, faithfulness, discipline, and a willingness to serve God and others. As you grow in your understanding of your identity in Christ, you can become more intentional about using your gifts, fulfilling your responsibilities, and serving the people around you. The goal is not simply to appear spiritual but to live a transformed life that brings glory to God.
