This 1 Rupee Silver Coin from 1904, issued during the reign of Edward VII under British India, and struck at the Bombay Mint. Minted in .917 fine silver and weighing approximately 11.66 grams, the obverse showcases the crowned and robed bust of King Edward VII facing right, along with the inscription “EDWARD VII KING & EMPEROR.” The reverse features the denomination “ONE RUPEE INDIA” along with the year 1904, encircled by a floral wreath and topped with the royal crown—a classic design of the Edwardian coinage series. This particular coin is graded XF 45 by NGS (Numismatic Grading Services). The XF (Extremely Fine) grade indicates moderate wear on the high points with most design elements still visible.
