Hi everyone👋, after more than a month-long hiatus I'm back with new stories to share 😊✈️🌏 ! This is Part 1 of my Shanghai travel series, which focuses on my time spent wandering around local neighborhoods🏮🍜🎐 outside of the Bund area. It's a glimpse into local Shanghai life that not many people outside of China or the world knows about, but is a side to Shanghai that I dearly love❤️ as someone who has seen it all since childhood. I returned to Shanghai in late August 2026 to visit my grandparents, especially my paternal grandmother who is currently hospitalized🏥. It's been over 2 years since I last visited China, so this vlog is a touching digital memory of my first experience back after so long 💜 . I will release a Part 2 Shanghai vlog that has more of a touristy feel to it, but this one is grounded in real life from a local person's perspective of how Shanghai feels to them.
