Taurus Mountain Race 2026 - The one where the whole Race Scratched & I finished in a sling

This is my experience at the Inaugural Taurus Mountain Race. The race did not exactly go to plan for anyone, not just me. Due to extreme weather in Türkiye, the race was cancelled mid-race. For me the race had not gone to plan from much earlier in the year. A pre season crash in Mallorca causing trauma to my shoulder meant much of the season for me was a write-off. I only hoped that 9 months of physio would have been enough, without the need for surgery. My race finished with my arm in a sling, so I guess not. Here is my story as far as CP1, and a few hours before the race was cancelled. Photo Credit   / chrismcclean   R9NZZ0OGEQ6D6AQH
