Exploring shops in Mexico, and there's a new Starbucks in town, will it affect local coffee shops?

My name is Amanda Turner, and I have lived in Ajijic, Mexico for 9 years from St. Petersburg, Florida and my husband and I own Estrellita’s Bed & Breakfast and El Gato Feo Café in historic centro. Our businesses have won Best of Lake Chapala for several years and we pride ourselves on giving our guests the best experience possible when they visit! We also just started growing our own organic, heirloom garden in the backyard of our home, which is just a few blocks from the b&b, and our vision is to start incorporating more non-toxic, local and organic elements into the businesses to bring you a more holistic and local experience. The coffee at El Gato Feo Café is organic from Nayarit and we also sell tea, smoothies, other drinks and our pastries are baked local and fresh every day. We’re open to the public from 8am to 8pm everyday Estrellita’s B&B has been family owned and operated since 2007, we offer 1G wifi throughout the property, daily housekeeping, daily hot breakfast with ingredients sourced locally, AC in every room and a lot of other great amenities. We’re about a block from the lake and the town plaza. We are also licensed, bilingual real estate agents in the area, so if you’re looking to purchase property here, we can help you!
