Come behind the scenes with me as I film a cinematic fashion piece at the beautiful Crystal Cove in California. For this shoot, I wanted to keep things simple and let the location, natural light, movement of the dress, and composition do most of the work. In this video, I take you through my process—from finding angles and compositions to capturing wide shots, details, movement, and putting everything together into the final film. One of my favorite things about filmmaking is showing that you don’t always need a huge crew or complicated setup to create something cinematic. Sometimes it’s about slowing down, looking at what’s around you, and finding the shot.
