Paranoid Android (Demon) by realm1005 | Geometry Dash [Review №28]

A pretty interesting lvl that is heavily inspired by Commatose while having a ton of own stuff, also made by a creator without any previously rated lvls. Ive checked their previous stuff and it seems to follow similar style, so id assume this isnt stolen, not accusing, its just really rare to see such quality with literally less than 100 downloads. I will not talk about every part and just say that overall quality is really stable. Lvl resembles Commatose a lot with the overlay, background effects and designs, but at the same time using in own way and making it interesting. The part at 1:10 is prob my favourite, it shows a really cool usage of random objects in designs and the transition to red palette with top-bottom stars overlay is just so good and fits the song. I really like how the background from previous part (2:01) is starting to take more space in next part (2:23), the red squares looks weird but somehow fits, which is like a phrase i can use for the whole lvl, it have a ton of weird details and ideas but it just works somehow. The parts starting from 2:48 are getting a lot more chaotic and random but it just looks like something that can be in Radiohead music video. However when it comes to gameplay, well. The lvl's difficulty is mostly around a medium demon, but the problem is that at 2:48 with more chaos and overlaying deco lvl becomes really memory-based and while there are indicators on a ufo, the small segments like the one at 3:13 are completely blind and needs a ton of learning. So like the base gameplay is fun, but the last minute of the lvl really ramps up the difficulty for no actual reason. And considering the gameplay curve id probably say that it will get a Featured rating, while visually being clearly something Epic worthy.
