Years ago, when I first played the game, this was actually one of my least favorite tracks; its introduction felt particularly odd and strange to listen to. However, over time and through countless playthroughs, I grew to love it as I truly understood the deep sense of adventure and fast-paced action it generates. For this arrangement in Reaper, I aimed to respect most of the original instruments and sonic identity while layering in my own musical arrangements where I felt they fit best. The result is a massive, epic rework designed to highlight and elevate the original composition's sheer epicness as Simon Belmont rushes through the dangerous treasure vault.
