Mowing, Merging & Chopping Triticale on a Colorado Dairy Farm In this video I am at a Dairy Farm near Wiggins Colorado as they are mowing and chopping their last field of Triticale. They are mowing and merging the crop with two John Deere W235R swathers with the Deere R500 rotary head. One of the machines has the merger attachment to combine windrows. After the crop is cut they are chopping it with two Krone Big X self propelled forage harvesters. One is the Big X 1180 and the other is an 1100. They are blowing the forage into trucks and hauling it back to the dairy farm where two John Deere 9520 tractors with Degelman blades is pushing it on the silage pile.
