Christmas in Paris is something truly special, a city where history, culture, and everyday life come together in unforgettable ways. From the heights of Sacré-Cœur, standing proudly atop Montmartre and offering one of the best panoramic views of Paris, to the warmth and rhythm of Parisian cafés, where writers, artists, and locals have gathered for centuries to talk, think, and simply watch the world go by. My journey continues past the timeless elegance of the Eiffel Tower, originally built for the 1889 World’s Fair and now the enduring symbol of France, before reaching the Arc de Triomphe, a monument to those who shaped the nation’s history and a gateway to the grand avenues radiating across the city. At the heart of Paris lies the Louvre, once a royal palace and now home to some of the world’s greatest works of art, reminding us how deeply creativity is woven into the city’s soul. And finally, the calm of the Jardin du Luxembourg, where tree-lined paths, elegant fountains, and historic gardens offer a quieter moment to reflect, a perfect contrast to the energy of the streets beyond. This video captures a Christmas spent exploring these iconic places, experiencing Paris, walking between 12 to 14 hours each day, thanks to Google Maps, and capturing 10.5 minutes in this short video over the 3 day visit.
