2026 01 Dec 30 Jan 05 & 06 - Hollyoaks - James & Ste

It's Christmas Day and James puts his luggage in the boot of his car to return to the village. Skip forward to New Years Eve and Ste is in a bad way after being drugged/poisoned by Lucas. James sees him struggling and rushes to help, calling an ambulance. Ste doesn't realise that it's actually James helping him. When the ambulance arrives, Rex shows up, forcing James to leave Ste before being seen. James sees Froggy with Sully and recognises Sully as someone who his client identified as having assaulted him. James goes to see Froggy and we find out they know each other as James has represented him in the past and they are on friendly terms. James gives some hints about his absence, saying he's working under a different name and that he's staying under the radar and 'still dead'. He leaves, telling Froggy that he has to check that someone is okay...
