The tradition of cinema was never kind to the feminine penis -- the reaction is often disgust, mockery or deep, primal fear. When I was recently out as trans, I had the strong feeling I needed to hide my body away. That all changed with Jules and Rue, lying in bed, and Jules' trans body was the object of tenderness and love. The small bulge was just in the side of the frame, with the most unsettling casualness. Growing up, I had seen trans women being stereotyped as many things: freaks, laughing stock, psycho killers, but Jules was a new and bold stereotype -- the manic pixie dream girl. 🐦 Follow my other channels!    / @cecililyplays   https://bsky.app/profile/cecilily.bsk...   / cecililytweets     / cecililystreams   📧 cecililycontact@gmail.com 🎵 In this video, you listened to Mario Kart World, Pokémon ORAS, and White and ‪@PurrpleCat‬.
