Tough Battle at Home: Blue Raiders Fall 2-1 to Liberty ⚽️🔵

Middle Tennessee women’s soccer pushed Liberty to the limit on Thursday night in Murfreesboro! ⚡️ Despite generating early pressure from Ania Denham, Hannah Murphy, and Megan Carroll, Liberty struck first on a breakaway. The Lady Flames doubled their lead in the second half, but the Blue Raiders never stopped fighting. Ania Denham found the back of the net in the 75th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1, but time ran out on the comeback effort. Coach Aston Rhoden on the team’s effort: "For this team to show up and play the way they play and compete the way they competed… the resiliency and the character that they’ve shown really says a whole lot." Shoutout to the defensive unit—including Mya Stenehjem, Jess Gray, and goalkeeper Demi Gronauer—for stepping up and playing full minutes amidst a tough injury list! 💪 What was your favorite moment from the match?
