The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD - Ch. 31 - Final Boss & Ending

Here we go! This is the last video we'll be doing for Twilight Princess HD. We're going to face off against the biggest bad guy in all of Zelda-dom, Ganondorf himself! The fight is broken up into four different phases. It's quite a fun boss battle, actually. Let's jump right in so we can beat it already! CHAPTER 31 - FINAL BOSS & ENDING We last left off opening the boss' door at the top of Hyrule Castle. You enter to find yourself outside again. We're at the top of the tower and it appears there's a little belfry here, or perhaps bonus tower? We dunno, it doesn't exactly make much sense, but that's ok. As you approach, you'll be greeted b Ganondorf. He has captured Zelda and after an extended dialogue with Midna, will begin to control her body BOSS BATTLE - Ganondorf 1) PHASE ONE - Puppet Zelda Zelda will fly around and use one of three attacks. First, she will dive towards you. You can simply dodge this, or use your shield. However, this cause you to lose target lock for a moment. Secondly, she will make a large Tri Force of energy appear below you. You'll need to move out of the way, before it surges with energy. Lastly, she will shoot a ball of energy at you. You'll need to bat it back to her using the Master Sword. It will go back and forth a couple times, until it finally hits Zelda. This is the only way to actually attack her. You'll need to do this three times. 2) PHASE TWO - Dark Beast Ganon After hitting Puppet Zelda three times, Ganon's control over her will weaken. Ganondorf will regenerate and now appears as a giant, monstrous boar. Similarly, Dark Beast Ganon only has a few attacks. First, it will run around the room in a circle destroying all the pillars. Then it will disappear into a portal. When this happens, put your back to the wall. Various portals will pop up, however Dark Beast Ganon will come out of the one that turns purple. When he appears, shoot an arrow at the spot on his forehead. This doesn't need to be exact, just in the general ballpark. This will cause Dark Beast Ganon to fall over. Run over to him and slash the scar on his underbelly. Repeat. After doing this a second time, you'll notice that Dark Beast Ganon will now dodge your arrows. Change into Wolf Link. The timing of this might be tricky, because you need to be directly in front of him. Press A when prompted and then press either left or right. Hold it and if done correctly, you should toss Dark Beast Ganon on his side. Slash his belly a third time to finish this phase. 3) PHASE THREE - Ganondorf Before this part begins, Zelda will pray to the spirits to help her. They give her the power of LIGHT ARROWS. In this phase, you'll need to chase after Ganondorf on Epona. This is actually our least favorite part, lol. What you need to do is maintain a close enough distance that you can target him. Zelda will then prepare to shoot a light arrow at him. Do your best to help her by holding steady and giving her a clear shot. If she's successful, this will stun Ganondorf. Now it's Link's chance to give him a good whack with the Master Sword. Repeat 2-3 times and eventually Ganondorf will fall off his horse. Now the final phase begins... 4) PHASE FOUR - Dark Lord Ganondorf This last part is an old-fashioned sword fight. Ganondorf doesn't guard his back properly at all. So we managed to beat him by simply using the back slice repeatedly. Keep it up and eventually you'll push him back enough where you're given the chance to 'finish'. Finish him off and enjoy the ending! You'll meet the real Midna and say a tearful goodbye to her afterwards. You'll see many different scenes that depict the Hyrule we spent so much time exploring and helping its people. Truly a great game and a masterpiece of a remaster! THE END
