Lagos, Nigeria; Road Trip From Oshodi - Ikorodu(Ogolonto)

Hi guys, in this video I will be taking you guys on a trip with me from Oshodi to Ogolonto in Ikorodu. This trip will cut across two major highway in Lagos which is the Apapa - Oshodi - Oworoshoki expressway and Ikorodu Road. The Apapa - Oshodi - Owroshoki expressway is presently been reconstructed by Dangote group under the federal government tax credit scheme at a cost of 73 billion naira. This expressway span from Apapa creek road through Liverpool, Tincan, marine beach to mile 2, Oshodi, Oworoshoki all the way to the old toll gate on Lagos - Ibadan expressway which is about 35 kilometers stretch. Ikorodu road which is also a major expressway connecting the mainland of Lagos to Ikorodu town. The road officially starts after the flyover with Murtala Muhammed way in Lagos mainland where it then stretch all the way to Ikorodu roundabout. The expressway crosses other major highway such as Apapa Oworoshoki expressway and Lagos Ibadan expressway. Ikorodu road hosts many of the Lagos bus rapid transit (BRT) stops all the way to Ikorodu with its dedicated lane. Some section of this expressway was also part of the road that started the BRT operations in Lagos which started from mile 12 to CMS (Marina) back then before it was extended to Ikorodu main terminal.
