Hindemith - Sonate pour Basson et Piano | Gordon Fantini, Bassoon

Now playing in this video: 🎵 Paul Hindemith: "Sonate pour Basson et Piano" Gordon Fontini brings wit and structural clarity to Hindemith's "Sonata for Bassoon and Piano", a cornerstone of the 20th-century bassoon repertoire prized for its blend of neoclassical rigor and dry humor. Angular and inventive, the sonata reveals the instrument's agility and character across a compact, tightly argued span. 🌟 About the Artist Gordon Fantini began playing the bassoon at the age of 14 and continued on to study with a selection of renowned professors such as Sergio Azzolini, Carlo Colombo, Gilbert Audin, Gabriele Screpis, and Albrecht Holder. Gordon has performed with many orchestras in Switzerland such as Verbier Chamber Festival Orchestra, Berner Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and KammerOrchester Basel, as well as Teatro alla Scala View Gordon's YouTube Channel: ‪@89FLASH90‬ 📘 Resources and Links View Full Concert Programme Notes: https://social.classeek.com/GordonCon...
