PCMC Finally Has a Real Kolhapuri Mutton Destination: Khula Rassa Wakad

Finding genuine Kolhapuri mutton with great restaurant seating in PCMC used to be tough, but Khula Rassa at The Address Commercia on the Bengaluru–Mumbai Highway nails the brief. The space has clean, comfortable dining backed by serious traditional spice. We ordered an entire feast to see if the food backs up the hype. The starters kicked off with the Chicken Pattice (₹200) packed with juicy filling, followed by the crisp Chicken Masala Papad (₹180). For the main meal, the Sp. Mutton Kharda Thali (₹600) hits hard with fresh green chilli and garlic heat, while the Sp. Mutton Sukka Thali (₹630) brings slow-cooked, tender mutton coated in dark, roasted spices. We also tried the Sp. Chicken Rada Thali (₹520) and the classic Veg Thali (₹450). To put out the fire from the rassa, we wrapped up with chilled Narsobawadi Basundi (₹150) and traditional sweet Modak (₹100).
