In this video, I explore the area around Atiq Square, also known as Imam Ali Square or Kohneh Square, and walk through the old covered bazaar and its historic corridors. You'll see everyday life in this part of Isfahan — people shopping, walking through the bazaar, local businesses, old brick architecture, narrow passages, traditional arches, and the historic square itself. Atiq Square was once the main square and an important commercial and social center of Isfahan, long before Naqsh-e Jahan Square became the city's most famous landmark. Its history goes back to the Seljuk period, and the surrounding bazaar is part of Isfahan's remarkable historic marketplace network. Rather than taking you only to the famous tourist attractions, I wanted to show you what it feels like to simply walk through this older, everyday side of Isfahan.
