Pipe Band lead Braemar Highland Games Society and Highlanders to 2026 Braemar Gathering in Scotland

Ballater & District Pipe Band lead the morning parade as it marched through the village of Braemar to the 2026 Braemar Gathering in Scotland. This was on Saturday 5th September 2026 in Royal Deeside, Scotland, and following the band were members of the Braemar Royal Highland Games Society, special guests and local groups, including the Invercauld and Duff Highlanders. For more videos from this event and Scotland see our channel ‪@BraemarMedia‬ The band, led by Drum Major Fiona Glennie and Pipe Major James Cooper, were playing the tunes Cutting Bracken, The Gardens of Skye and John MacDonald’s March. Following the band were the Society President Peter Fraser and Philip Farquharson, 17th Laird of Invercuald, Chief of Clan Farquharson, members of the Society and invited guests, plus the Invercauld Highlanders in Black uniforms and the local Duff Highlanders in Red uniforms, with their swords and pikes, followed by local scouts. #braemar #braemargathering #royalhighlandsociety #scotland
