This song genuinely made me want to LIVE… 😭 Today I'm watching Mrs. GREEN APPLE's “Soranji” for the first time — both the Music Video and Studio Live versions. I went into this knowing almost nothing about the song, but I quickly realized that this song is different!!!! “Soranji” feels like a song about choosing to live even when life becomes incredibly difficult. Even when things hurt, there can still be beauty in this world, and sometimes you just need a reason to keep going. The lyrics, the atmosphere, Motoki Ohmori's vocals, and the emotion behind both performances really hit me. After watching the MV, I also wanted to see how the song would feel in a live setting… and the Studio Live gave me a completely different experience. Ryo-chan playing the flute and the whole band singing. Motoki Ohmori vocals were also out of this world.
