The violent incident unfolded at approximately 12:30 AM near the intersection of Morrill Street and North Clinton Avenue. Witnesses on the scene reported that a massive crowd of hundreds of people had been gathered along the North Clinton corridor for several hours, playing loud music and hanging out of vehicle windows, when multiple gunshots suddenly rang out into the crowd. Panic ensued as people scrambled for cover and fled the area to safety. Responding officers and emergency medical personnel rushed to the scene, where a female victim was located suffering from severe gunshot trauma.
