Chaitrangan The traditional Rangoli of Maharashtra in its true sense a drawing to invoke good fortune. The symbols used in the Chaitrangan are all auspicious and connected to prosperity. It is deliberately drawn in the Indian month of Chaitra that generally comes in March/April. In the month of Chaitra, the goddess of fertility; Chaitra-Gauri is worshipped and to honor the deity, the Chaitrangan is drawn.
