Into Your Hands, Lord | A Night Prayer to Surrender Everything Before Sleep

Before you sleep tonight, open your hands and give it all to God. In this peaceful night prayer, we lay down the day behind us, tomorrow's worries, our plans, our fears and our questions, and we place everything into the safest hands there are. "Into your hand I commend my spirit." (Psalm 31:5) These are the words King David prayed, and the words Jesus prayed on the cross (Luke 23:46). Tonight, they can be your prayer too. Let this prayer quiet your heart, calm your thoughts and help you fall asleep in God's peace. 🕊️ Chapters 0:00 Welcome to Sleep with Scripture 0:44 Open your hands (Psalm 31:5) 2:25 Coming to God just as I am 3:13 The day behind me, tomorrow, my plans, my fears, my needs 6:41 My loved ones, my body, sleepless nights, my questions, my heart 9:41 "Not enough", my will, my times 11:17 Be still and rest 13:09 Into your hands, Lord 14:26 A word of encouragement 15:15 Blessing and good night 📖 Scripture in this prayer (World English Bible): Psalm 31:5, 31:15; Luke 23:46; Psalm 103:12; Matthew 6:26, 6:34; Proverbs 16:9; Psalm 37:5; 1 Peter 5:7; 2 Corinthians 12:9; Psalm 121:3-4; Isaiah 55:9; Psalm 34:18; Psalm 139:14; Matthew 26:39; Psalm 55:22; Psalm 46:10; Psalm 131:2; Isaiah 26:3; Psalm 4:8; Isaiah 40:28; Numbers 6:24-26. 🙏 If this prayer brought you peace, share it with someone who can't sleep tonight.
