AM Electric Trains at Newmarket and Paerata ~ 16/11/2025 (HD)

One last video from Auckland on Sunday the 16th of November, featuring the ‘AM’ electric multiple units on their regular suburban services. I initially filmed some at the Cowie Street overbridge in Newmarket (just south of the Parnell Tunnel) before going further south to Paerata, not far from the southern terminus of electric suburban services in Pukekohe. Included in this video is AM 578, a unit that currently wears an advertising livery promoting Auckland Transport’s “Mission Electric” project. We’ll also see AM 471, which is one of six units wearing special rail safety liveries; incidentally, we managed to beat AM 471 to Paerata after initially seeing her in Newmarket. #train #railway #trainspotting #newzealand #auckland #electrictrain #narrowgauge #railfan
