Made for using a screen as a light source. The picture is a single frame: a still, single-colour screen. It does not change for 165 minutes. No audio at all; you can leave the volume up and hear nothing. What it helps with: checking for dead pixels and screen blemishes turning a second monitor or a TV into a backdrop soft light at night that does not glare coloured light for children playing a background for streaming and filming a steady reference while adjusting monitor colour How to use it: Go full screen (press F) and wait for the player controls to fade - then only the colour is left. Right-click and choose Loop to keep it running as long as you like. For dead pixels, look closely and in a dark room. You may need to disable the screensaver and auto-sleep, though most devices stay awake while a video plays. Questions people ask: Why so long? So it does not run out and jump to something else. It should last a whole night, or a whole shoot, in one go. Are there other colours? There are a good many on the channel and more going up. If the one you want is not there, say so in the comments and I will make it. Is the colour exact? Video compression can shift a colour by a unit or two; that is true of any video and it is not visible to the eye. For precise work like colour measurement, use a calibration tool. Is it fine to leave on all night? The picture holds still throughout - no flicker, no flashes. Leaving a bright static image on an OLED for very long stretches is worth avoiding in general; keeping the brightness low takes care of it.
