Later that afternoon, San Jose Police responded to a residence on Linda Vista Street and found Ann Mary. Her d**th became the subject of a separate investigation. Authorities were also examining the connection between the two incidents because all three women knew each other. As of September 7, 2026, Anila Baby had been formally charged in connection with Anjana Hari’s d**th. The investigation concerning Ann Mary remained separate, with reports indicating that additional legal action was being considered. The investigation into the motive and the complete sequence of events was still ongoing. The case has also deeply affected the families of both women, including their husbands and young children.
