Here's how to watermark a PDF in WordPress for free: stamp CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT or your own text across every page, without editing the PDF. We use the free PDF Poster plugin. Switch on the watermark, pick one of three looks, type your wording and add placeholders like {date} or {site_name} that fill themselves in.
